Topic Lists

In the a flurry of activity before I go off for two weeks I have uploaded some of the topic lists that students can use to plan their revision. Click here to open a Word Document which contains details of the content of the French, Geography, German and RE exams. Students doing Foundation Maths can click here for the topics they need. If they are doing Higher Maths then click here. There is a History checklist here. Finally, last year I linked the Science department's revision checklist to the relevant sections of BBC Bitesize (which are being changed but still work for now), students can access the Additional Science list here.

Revision Planner

All students should now have a copy of the Revision Planner, if not they can download one here or get one from Mrs Bullock in the Humanities Admin Office next to TC8.

Revision Planner in Open Dyslexic Font

I have uploaded a copy of the Revision Planner in the OpenDyslexic Font for those that might it easier. It can be downloaded here.

Parents and Carers Revision Evening

Thank you to all the parents and carers who came to our Revision Evening last Monday. As promised, here are some of the resources that were used on the night. You can find  Mr Rowland's presentation on "Using Extra Time in Exams" is here. Mr Morrice's session on Geography is here and the Powerpoint from my session on "Effective Revision" is here. There has been a real change in the attitude of the Year 11s since this event so together we are obviously having the right effect!
